Doris Hagan

Doris Marie O'Dell Long Hagan, 76, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born May 18, 1940 in Jonesville, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Winnie Gertrude Harvey O'Dell. Doris was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church where she was a choir member for many years. She was a devoted homemaker who was completely devoted to her Lord and family. She did not have time to work outside of the home. As an amazing cook, macaroni and cheese, and chocolate pie were her specialty. Survivors include daughters, Denise Jett (David) of Spartanburg, SC; Angela Cooper (Donnie) of Chesnee; son, David O'Dell (Erika) of Clarksville, TN; nine grandchildren, Andrea Boccucci (Tristen) of Summerville, SC; Jacob Jett (Nicole) of Shinglehouse, PA; Steven Kirby of Duncan, SC; Michael O'Dell of Clarksville, TN; Dylan Kirby of Chesnee, SC; Megan Miller (Cody) of Ft. Riley, KS; Amanda O'Dell of Memphis, TN; Evan Kirby of Chesnee, SC; Brandon McLyea of Boiling Springs, SC; four great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Melody Long; and brother, Ronnie O'Dell (Cathy) of Jonesville, SC. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, David M. Long; second husband, Orion W. Hagan; son, David M. Long, Jr., and siblings, Bobby O'Dell, Eddie O'Dell and Helen Tisdale. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Larry Holland and the Rev. Dr. James Hilton. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethesda Baptist Church Building Fund, 799 Bethesda Road, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
