Doris Greer

Doris G. Greer, 90, widower of Charles F. Greer, died Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Brookdale Terrace Assisted Living in Woodruff.  Mrs. Greer was born August 11, 1931, in Drayton and the daughter of the late Claude R. Burdette and Hettie Finch.  She was retired from Hoechst-Celanese as a Filament Inspector and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Renae Laws and Becky Ackert.  Eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Greer was predeceased by two sons, Donald and Dale Greer, and daughter, Nancy Wallace.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
