Dora Ada Murph Swofford Fleming, 86, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born February 16, 1925, in Whitestone, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Ellie Spake Murph, and wife of the late John T. Swofford. Dora was retired from Dan River-Clifton Manufacturing, a member of Ben Avon Baptist Church, Eastern Star #231, a Tupperware dealer for 10 years, and loved music and playing guitar. Survivors include her daughter, Linda E. Swofford Miller and husband Leroy of Boiling Springs; grandchildren, James L. Miller, Jr. and wife Brandy, and Glynda L. Miller; and a sister, Mary Watson of Spartanburg. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, December 26, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by Pastor Richard King and the Rev. Cecil Grant. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
