Donnie Seay

Donnie Edward "Moon" Seay, 91, of Spartanburg, SC husband of the late Kathleen Turner Seay, died Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born in Pacolet, SC on November 4, 1929, he was the son of the late William K. Seay and Dora Pugh Seay. A U. S. Air Force Veteran, Mr. Seay was a retired supervisor with the Kohler Company and was a bailiff for the Spartanburg County Court House. He loved his family, sports, traveling, to be in his workshop, and he played baseball in the Air Force. Mr. Seay was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughters, Debbie S. Culbreth (Neil) of Spartanburg, SC and Susan S. Wilson (Mason) of Boiling Springs, SC; four grandchildren' three great-grandchildren, and sisters, Eloise Mathis of Cowpens, SC and Nelleen Seay of Pacolet, SC. He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Donna Kay Seay; one brother and five, sisters. Graveside visitation will be held 1:00-1:45 PM Wednesday, March 24, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, with services following at 2:00 PM conducted by The Rev. Ty Childers and The Rev. Gary Pruitt, with military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
