Donnie Harris

Donnie Darlene Harris, 61, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born March 5, 1953 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Mary Louise Scruggs Harris. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include two daughters, Nellie Simmons (Jeff) of Woodruff, SC, and Essie Harris of Spartanburg, SC; four grandchildren, Katlyn Simmons, Sarah Simmons, Devon Tucker, and Briana Edwards; two sisters, Joann Harris, and Linda Yeatts. She was predeceased by a brother, Alfred Harris. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, June 22, 2014 in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, 125 Fort Prince Rd., Wellford, SC 29385, by the Rev. Frankie Taylor. Visitation will follow at the graveside. The family will be at their respective homes.
