Donna Johns

Donna Lynn Crosby Johnson, 54, of Pauline, died Monday, December 12, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born October 24, 1957, in Lancaster County, SC, she was the daughter of Donald and Katherine Hinson Crosby of Spartanburg. Donna was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and an employee of Spartanburg Dodge. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Wayne Travis Johnson; children, Meghan Nicole Johnson and Jeremy Travis Johnson of the home; sister, Lisa Katherine Crosby of Spartanburg; father-mother-in-law, Harold and Nancy Johnson of Roebuck; brother-in-law, Joel Johnson and wife Tammy of Roebuck; nephews, Bennett and Andrew Johnson of Roebuck; and numerous aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her brother, Mark Alan Crosby. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 3:30 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at Philadelphia Baptist Church, by the Rev. Joshua C. Jennings and the Rev. Dr. Roland L. Dry, Jr. Visitation, in the church sanctuary, will follow the burial in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. Honorary escort is the Carolina Classic Car Club. Pallbearers are Doug Cobb, Edwin Caldwell, Ronnie Putnam, Leonard Stevens, Joe Billings, and Eric Finch. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westgate Christian School, 1990 Old Reidville Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301. The family will be at the home of her parents, Donald and Katherine Crosby.
