Donald Wood

Donald Lee Wood, 75, of Spartanburg, died Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born July 2, 1937 in Woodruff, he was the husband of the late Ann Lister Wood and son of the late Anglo Saxon and Mary Sara Pearson Wood. He was retired from Fairforest Finishing Plant, a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a 1955 graduate of Woodruff High School. Surviving are a brother, Arthur Edwin Wood and wife Marie of Woodruff; brother-in-law, Winfred Lister and wife Ruth of Taylors; and several nieces and nephews, Todd, Christy and Autumn Wood, Lee, Angie, Josh, and Jessica Turner, Donna, David and Janet Lister, and Amanda and Ben Dellinger. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Monday, August 27, 2012 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. James W. Crocker, the Rev. Jason Lee, and the Rev. Fred S. Quidley. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
