Donald C. Steffee, Sr.

Donald C Steffee, Sr. passed away peacefully on Friday, February 14, 2025, with his loving wife by his side.

Donald was born in Massillon, Ohio the son of the late Charles Steffee and the late Edith Vitak Steffee. He was also predeceased by a sons: Donald C Steffee, Jr and James Steffee.

Donald served his country with honors in the United States Army. He attended Ken State University and had a successful career as a superintendent with Timken Corporation. He was of the Methodist faith. Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Left to cherish his many memories are his wife: Betty L. Steffee; two sons: James Steffee and Dan Steffee (Janice); a daughter: Janice Jahnke. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

A memorial service to honor Donald’s life will be held Friday, February 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Heritage Chapel at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 2075 East Main St, Spartanburg, South Carolina.
