Donald "Donnie" Eugene Powell, 48, of Pacolet, SC, died Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born March 26, 1971, in Gaffney, SC, he was the son of Carl Gene Powell of Gaffney, SC and Rita Delores Kirby of Pacolet, SC. A member of Montgomery Memorial United Methodist Church, Mr. Powell enjoyed fishing, hunting, and loved to cook. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Cynthia Powell Pruitt of Pacolet, SC; wife, Pamela Parker Powell of Spindale, NC; step-children, Kristan Liverett of Spindale, NC, John Earley and Derrick Earley, both of Pacolet, SC; step-granddaughter, Emily Gregory of Spindale, NC; and special friend, Rhonda Earley of Pacolet, SC. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Friday, February 14, 2020, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM, conducted by The Rev.
