Donald Carson Mashburn III, 56, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, January 16, 2017, at his home. Born June 11, 1960, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Donald Carson Mashburn Jr. of Abbeville, SC and Ruth Keller Tweed of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Erica Nicole Mashburn of Greenwood, SC; grandson, Elijah Mashburn; sisters, Amanda Mashburn and Patti Mashburn, both of Spartanburg, SC; special friend, Montye Debose of Charleston, SC; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 19, 2017, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Steve Garrett.
