Donald Love

Donald "Donnie" Lewis Love, 74, of Moore, SC, died Sunday, October 9, 2016, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born June 1, 1942, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late William Leonard Love and Bertie Satterfield Love. A U. S. Air Force veteran and graduate of Spartanburg High School, Mr. Love enjoyed spending time with his family and was a classic car enthusiast. He was a member of Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church and retired from Altman Printing Company. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Allen Love of the home; children, Tracey Love Ellis (Robbie) of Easley, SC and Donald "Donnie" L. Love Jr. (Sarah) of Spartanburg, SC; four grandchildren, Donnie Love III, John Love, William Love, and Mae Ellis; sister, Shirley Sparnell (Jack) of Smyrna, GA; and brother, Robert Love (Judy) of Greer, SC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a grandson, Matthew Love; two sisters; and one brother. Visitation will be 1:00-2:45 PM Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Asheton Amerson. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
