Dolores Wasness

Dolores Olson Wasness, 79, of 462 Webber Road, died Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care, after a short illness. Born May 6, 1931 in Devils Lake, ND, she was the daughter of the late Olaf N. and Rose Wahl Olson. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and an active member of the Piedmont Civitan Club. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald S. Wasness; a son, James Wasness and wife Nancy of Boiling Springs; a daughter, Marlene Wasness of Boiling Springs; and a grandson, David Wasness of Boiling Springs. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 2, 2010 at St. Paul United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Frank E. Lybrand. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
