Dolores Sutherland

Dolores Jane Wood Sutherland, 84, died Sunday, September 21, 2014, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born August 22, 1930 in High Point, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Harmon and Katie Kenney Wood and widow of James Wallace Sutherland. Mrs. Sutherland was the owner of Sutherland Wholesale and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Survivors include her brother, Jerry K. Wood of Taylors, SC and several nieces and nephews. A private service will be held at a later date. The family request that memorials be made to Hatcher Garden and Woodland Preserve, c/o The Spartanburg County Foundation, 424 East Kennedy Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
