Diane Stephens

Miss Vicki Diane Stephens, 71, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Born January 29, 1951 in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Chester Howell and Dorothy Golden Stephens.

Diane earned her associate’s degree from Spartanburg Methodist College and her bachelor’s degree from USC-Upstate. Diane was retired as Student Recruiter for USC-Upstate after many years of service. She was an active member of Hope Church of Spartanburg. Devoted to her family, friends and church, she was a kind and generous person. She loved the mountains and the beach.

Survivors include her brothers, Ron Stephens (Kathy) of Columbia, SC; Stuart Stephens (Janice), of Columbia, SC; José Stephens (Lynette) of Coker, AL; and Britt Stephens of Sandy Springs, GA; seven nieces and nephews; and six great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2:00 – 2:45 pm Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Hope Church of Spartanburg, SC, 102 John Dodd Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29303. A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be at 3:00 pm at the church.
