Dennis Jolly, Sr.

Dennis Edward Jolly, Sr., 53, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born October 19, 1963, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Hubert Claude Jolly, Sr. and Thelma Banks Jolly. Mr. Jolly loved his grandchildren and was an employee of Home Depot and retired from the State Highway Department. Survivors include his son, Dennis "D. J." Edward Jolly, Jr. (Ashley) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Brianna and Colt Jolly; sister, Vonda Wrenn (Robert) of Boiling Springs, SC; and nephews, Sean and Derek Wrenn. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Hubert Claude Jolly, Jr. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Andy Case. Burial will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens, 1011 S. Alabama Ave., Chesnee, SC 29323.
