Dennis Henderson

Dennis O'Neal Henderson, 64, of 728 Reynolds Street, died Thursday, September 17, 2009, at his home. Born February 27, 1945, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late James Oliver and Martha Queen Henderson. He was an electrician, a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in the Vietnam War, and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Diane Hall Henderson; a sister, Sandra McAbee of Spartanburg; a brother, Leonard Henderson of Arden, NC; several nieces and nephews; and many good friends. He was predeceased by two brothers, Jim Henderson and Richard Henderson. Visitation will be 12:30-1:45 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Dr. Keith Taylor. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
