Dennis Gale Cromer, 81, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024.
He was a life-long resident of Spartanburg, known for being an extremely hard-worker, spending years as a painter and handyman, and having previously owned and operated Cromer's Day Nursery in Roebuck.
Born June 16, 1943, he was a son of the late Levi Newton and Florence Campbell Cromer. He is survived by his two sons, Robin Cromer of Beaufort, SC and Todd Cromer of Spartanburg, and by his siblings, Ray Cromer, Nancy Hill, and Linda Ellison. He was predeceased by siblings, Myra Sprouse, Sara Rollins, Calvin Cromer, Jimmy Cromer, and Judy McLyea.
An informal graveside gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date in 2025 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, in memory and celebration of his life and influence.
