Dennis Paul Cappiello

Dennis Paul “Cappy” Cappiello, 78, of Central, SC, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Cappy was born on May 2, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of the late Mae Gugliomotti Cappiello and Ralph Paul Cappiello. He worked as a crane operator.

Surviving is his wife of nearly 27 years, Loretta Regina Volkens Cappiello; his sons, Coby Dennis Cappiello of Leesville, SC and Tory Robert Cappiello (Catherine) of Spartanburg; a stepdaughter, Ashley Volkens of Easley, SC; his 5 grandchildren, Austin Cappiello, Hannah Cappiello, Caroline Cappiello, Paul Cappiello and Connor Volkens-Donoghue; and 2 great-grandchildren, Branson and Landan Cappiello. Cappy was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Rebecca Cappiello.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
