Delma E. Williams, 95, of Spartanburg, SC died Monday, December 27, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born February 6, 1926 in Yancey County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Carrie Hensley Edwards and the wife of the late Chad Williams.
Delma was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She worked in the church nursery and was a member of the church choir and WMU.
Survivors include her sons, Allan R. Williams of Spartanburg, SC, Gary D. Williams of Spartanburg, SC, Morris Williams (Kathy) of Inman, SC, her daughter in law, Patricia Mason Williams of Charlotte, NC, and her loving adopted son, Myles Alexander; sister, Mae Randolph of Marion, NC; her grandchildren, Angie Quinn (Tony), Jennifer Reynolds (Jason), Audrey Amos (Joey), Rebecca Smart (Matt), Tanner Williams (Nikki), and 12 great grandchildren. Delma was also predeceased by a son, Larry E. Williams, sisters, Ruby Deyton, Ethel Pate, Ruth Riddle and Lillian Spencer, her brothers, Phillip Edwards and Albert Edwards.
Visitation will be 12:30 – 1:30 PM Monday, January 3, 2022 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM at the chapel, conducted by The Rev. Mike Royal. A private commital will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastside Baptist Church Building Fund, 1850 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307 or Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 626 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
