Deborah Lee McGaha, 56, of 221 Chestnut Street, died Saturday, May 2, 2009, at her home. Born September 22, 1952, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Elmer and Joyce Loving Lee. She was a member of Hammett Grove Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher and choir member. She was a loving wife and mother who was devoted to her family and Lord. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Rev. Michael Philip McGaha; a daughter, Bethany McGaha of the home; a brother, Charles Darren Lee of Spartanburg; and her mother-in-law, Ruby Phillips McGaha of Pacolet Mills. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2009, in the Sanctuary of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at Pacolet Mills Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Norman L. Band, the Rev. Dr. James W. Crocker, and the Rev. Michael P. McGaha. Burial will be in Pacolet Methodist Cemetery. The family is at the home of her mother-in-law, Ruby McGaha, 120 Green Street, Pacolet Mills.
