Deborah Lee Blackwelder Johnson, 41, of Spartanburg, died Monday, April 4, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born July 22, 1969, in Spartanburg, she is survived by her parents, Donald Gerald and Annie Scruggs Blackwelder. Deborah was of the Freewill Baptist faith and a loan officer with Navy Federal Credit Union, Charleston, SC. She was a graduate of Westgate Christian School and Piedmont Beauty School. She was dearly loved by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, survivors include a sister, Donna Blackwelder McNamara (Sean) of Spartanburg; two nieces, Caroline and Megan McNamara, and three nephews, Sean Jr., Brandon, and Andrew McNamara all of Spartanburg; a special cousin, David Pledger of Spartanburg; and her special paternal grandmother, Mattie Blackwelder. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be at 4:00 PM Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Chuck Thornton and Dr. Joe Blackwelder. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum.
