Dean Sloan

Dean Romaine Sloan, 47, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born March 27, 1968, in Newton, NJ, he was the son of Gladys Rebecca Whittaker Everett and the late Richard Everett. Mr. Sloan was retired from Hopatcong Department of Public Works. Survivors include his wife, Kristie Cupka Sloan; step-daughter, Helen Kaci Davidson (Stewart) of Boiling Springs, SC; grandchildren, Issac Scott Hughes and Natalie Kristine Lanier; brother, Chuck Sloan, of Spartanburg, SC; and sisters, Rebecca Marie Perry, of San Francisco, CA; Shannon Lee Jenkins and Lareann Harblin, both of Spartanburg, SC. A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM, Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, 4180 Hwy. 9, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, conducted by the Rev. Alan Leonard. The family will receive friends after the memorial service, at the church.
