David Wright

David Earl Wright, 62, of Spartanburg, died Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born June 14, 1950, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Frankie Norris Wright of Boiling Springs, SC and the late Thomas Spencer Wright. A veteran of the U. S. Navy, Mr. Wright retired from School District 7 and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Karen Bollinger Wright; sons, Matthew Wright and Christopher Wright, both of Spartanburg, SC; granddaughters, Tianna and Maureen Wright, both of Virginia Beach, VA; daughter-in-law, Tonya Wright of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, Robert Wright of Conover, NC; and sister, Patti Faust of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 PM Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at St. John's Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Michael Shackleford and the Rev. Emily Edenfield. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
