David Franklin Stampe, 75, passed away on January 27, 2025, at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Born on March 8, 1949, in Cleveland, Tennessee, he is the son of the late Emil and Oma Cloar Stamps. He led a dedicated career as a truck driver for many years, contributing to the lives of those he met along the way.
David had a generous spirit, always kind and welcoming, with a great sense of humor that brought joy to his family and friends. David cherished spending time with his family, especially his kids, creating memories that will be fondly remembered.
An avid fisherman, he found great pleasure in fishing for catfish, often sharing stories of his adventures by the water. Not only catching catfish but, he loved to eat it. He thought that catfish were superior to all fish
Surviving is Cindy Stampe; sons, Joshua, Brian, Jason, and Rendell Stampe, David Dart; sisters, Margie Ogule, Linda, Diane Pelham, and Suesan; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews. Along with his parents,
David is predeceased by his brothers, Jeffery Stampe and Cecil Stampe.He will be missed deeply by all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a wealth of cherished memories.
