David Ochs

David Wayne Ochs, 61, of 501 Camelot Drive, Apartment 69, died Sunday, July 19, 2009, at his home. Born May 30, 1948, in Acushnet, MA, he was the son of the late George and Harriett Meechum Ochs. He was a tire sales engineer and former retread plant manager with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He served in the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Pamela Wheatley Ochs; a son, Christopher Stephen Ochs and his wife Christina of Greer; a daughter, Shelley Elise Ochs and her fianc Scott Stuart of Greenville; a step-daughter, Leslie Michelle Anderson of Spartanburg; a grandson, Chamberlin Joshua Fowler of Greenville; a granddaughter, Jordan Alexandria Ochs of Columbia; and a brother, Robert Ochs of Englewood, FL. A private memorial service will be held at the home. Flowers may be sent to the home, and/or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
