David Merritt

David Lee Merritt, 63, of Boiling Springs, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at his home. Born December 13, 1946, in Charlotte, NC, he was the son of the late Baxter and Faye Merritt. He was retired from Colonial Pipeline and a member of First Baptist Church North Spartanburg. Survivors include two sons, Charles Merritt of Wellford, and David L. Merritt, II of Blacksburg; a daughter, Tiffany Boyd of Columbia; a grandson, Will Merritt of Boiling Springs; a granddaughter, Caitlin Merritt of Union; and a sister, Robin Merritt of Concord, NC. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010, at First Baptist Church North Spartanburg conducted by the Rev. Doug Turner. The family will receive friends following the service at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Remains Youth Ranch, P. O.
