David Mcaninch

David Arlington McAninch, 63, of Roebuck, died Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. David was born December 15, 1949 in Spartanburg, a son of the late Dr. Henry Arthur McAninch and Betty Jasper McAninch. He was the founder and President of Piedmont Orthotics Lab, and was a member of the Carolina Country Club and the Pacolet Ski Club. Surviving is his beloved wife, Virginia "Ginny" Fowler McAninch,; two brothers, William McAninch of Mauldin, SC and Henry McAninch of Spartanburg; and his faithful and beloved canine companions, Freedom and Sadie. The family will receive friends 1:00-1:45 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel, conducted by Father Howard Tillman, Mr. William McAninch and Mr. David Jordan. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
