David Edward Mabry, 64, of Roebuck, SC, died Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at his home. Born December 30, 1956 in Biddeford, Maine, he was the son of the late James Edward and Rachel Demeule Mabry.
A 1974 Dorman High School graduate, Mr. Mabry served in the US Coast Guard from 1977 to 1981, he then went on to work for Laidlaw Corporation for several years. David received his Associates of Art degree from Spartanburg Methodist College in 1986 and recently retired from Dish Network.
David was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. He loved tennis, hiking, playing guitar and gardening. David was a loving brother and uncle.
Survivors include his sisters, Elaine Mabry Taylor (Dave) of Pauline, SC and Shirley Mabry of Roebuck, SC, his brother, Stanley Mabry of Roebuck, SC, nephews, Stanley James Mabry of Cowpens, SC and Ethan W. Taylor (Bethany) of Greenville, SC, niece, Stephanie Mabry of Cowpens, SC, grandnieces, Caroline McKenzie Greene and Scarlett Abigail Mabry, and grandnephew, Gavin Lucas Mabry.
A Graveside service with Military Rites will be 12:00 PM Thursday, November 4, 2021 in Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229, conducted by The Rev. Tommy Sparks.
