David Erwin Howard, Sr.

David Ervin Howard, Sr., 68, of Inman, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. He was born November 5, 1954, in Spartanburg, a son of the late Leonard Robert Howard and Pearl Lee McGaha Howard.

David enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, fishing and teaching his grandchildren how to fish. He retired from Inman Mills after 27 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Nellie Isaacs Howard; three daughters, Angela Wilhite (Charles), Jessica Stone (David), and Brittany Stone (Chris); three sons, Bobby Lee Stone (Wendy), Jeffrey Scott Stone (Angela), and David Howard, Jr. (Blair); eight grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Josh, Bradley, Hannah, PJ., Haley, Taylor, and Elizabeth; four great grandchildren Luke, Melody, Harmony and Ally; his sister, Brenda Mitchums, and his four-legged buddies, Chloe, Bella, and Bennie.

David was predeceased by four brothers, Ted Howard, Junior Howard, Wayne Howard, and Johnny Howard.

Private services will be held.
