Darlee Walker

Darlee Jennings Walker, 91, of Spartanburg, SC, beloved wife of the late N. T. Walker, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born August 3, 1922, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Annie Bickley Jennings and Willie T. Jennings. She was a member of North Spartanburg Church of God. Survivors include two daughters, Dianne Campbell (Clay) of Spartanburg and Denise Jolley (Ben) of Boiling Springs; 4 grandchildren, Martin, Tina, Michael, and Melanie; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Peggy Davis. She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Walker; one great-grandchild; and two brothers. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 PM Friday, March 28, 2014, at North Spartanburg Church of God, 2069 Chesnee Hwy, Spartanburg, SC 29303. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Larry Flippo. Burial will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens, 1011 S. Alabama Ave., Chesnee, SC 29323. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29303. Darlee was blessed with loving, kind, and compassionate caregivers. The family is at the home of her daughter, Dianne Campbell.
