Danny Griffith

Danny Vinson Griffith, 74, of Boiling Springs, SC died Monday, April 12, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born October 23, 1946 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Cleabert and Rosetta Cooper Griffith. A U. S. Navy Veteran, Mr. Griffith was an auto mechanic retired from Chevrolet of Spartanburg, having worked at numerous garages and car dealerships throughout Spartanburg. He was an avid fisherman, owning his own Rod and Reel Repair Service, fished in tournaments with many clubs in Spartanburg County and could fix anything mechanical. Survivors include his wife Debbie Franklin Griffith; son, Chris V. Griffith of Spartanburg, SC; granddaughter, Katy Harrell (Cameron); great-granddaughter, Harper Harrell of Charlotte, NC; sister Susan Hurst (David) of Spartanburg, SC; sister-in-law, Robin Franklin; brother-in-law, Butch Franklin (Pat) all of Charlotte, NC; several nieces and nephews, and his faithful feline companion Ginger. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, April 16, 2021 in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Hwy 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, conducted by The Rev. Jack Owens.
