Danna Grizzle

Danna Faye Beacham Grizzle, 76, of Roebuck, SC, died Friday, October 7, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice. Born July 26, 1940, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Franklin and Kathleen McDowell Beacham. She was the widow of John William Grizzle, Sr. Danna was retired after 35 years of service with Southern Bell and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, and CWA (Communication Workers of America). She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, the Joy Sunday School Class; and was a member of Tuesday Bible Study Class at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Roebuck Chapter 216. Survivors include a son, John William Grizzle, II; daughter, Cynthia Grizzle Morgan (Perry); seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Cheleotis (Kyle); John Grizzle (Kristen); Rebekah Morgan; Perry Mantle Morgan; Hunter Morgan; Hannah Grizzle; Savannah Grizzle; three great grandchildren, Noah and Colton Grizzle and Austin Cheleotis; brothers-in-law, Mike Grizzle (Angie); Ed Grizzle (Cheryl); sisters-in law, Wilma Tubbs, Mary Etta Steadman, Martha Vaugh and Annette Weathers. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, October 10, 2016 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 11. 2016 at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Chris Snelgrove and the Rev. Dr. Jim Oliver. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
