Daniel William Brainard

Daniel William Brainard, 48, of Wellford, completed his journey on Earth, on Monday, August 28, 2023. Dan was born on April 8, 1975, in Greenville, PA.  He was married to Lalita Diane Nyitrai Brainard for the last 24 years.

Dan was the owner/operator of Dan’s Lawn Service for the past 30 years. During his high school years, Dan was a proud member of the FFA (Future Farmers of America).  A true country boy at heart, he loved nature and everything outdoors. He was also very musically inclined, mastering the playing of several different instruments in his lifetime.  Dan was a passionate supporter of local businesses and the overall well-being of nearby communities.

Along with his wife, Dan is also survived by his daughter, Lenae Diane Brainard of Columbia, SC; his sister, Mary E. Schultz (Kevin) of North Jackson, OH; his sister-in-law, Sabrina E. Nyitrai of Pflugerville, TX; his brother-in-law, Justin Nyitrai (Paytra) of Warren, OH; his parents-in-law, Lori and Frank DeGennaro of Beaufort, SC; his nephews, Carter and Elliot Schultz of North Jackson, OH; his niece Tatiana Nyitrai of Warren, OH; his future son-in-law Aaron Marshall of Columbia, SC; and his cat-child, MoMo.

In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in remembrance of Dan, as he was very much at peace and at home among the trees.
