Dang Yang, 61, of Inman, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at Medical University Hospital-MUSC in Charleston, SC. Born April 13, 1951, in Xiangkhouang Province, Laos, he was the son of the late Cher Yee Yang and Mang Thao Yang. Mr. Yang was a member of Calvary Hmong Alliance Church and served in the American Alliance during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Ly Thao Yang; son, Matthew Mongchu Yang (Melissa) of Inman, SC; daughters, Debbie May Ying Lee (Long) of Moore, SC, and Lo Heu Moua (Xeng) of Fresno, CA; eight grandchildren, Vincent Thao, Erikson Lee, Destyn Lee, Penny Moua, Annie Moua, Mickey Moua, Aaliyah Moua, and Davion Yang; brothers, Thomas Yang of Fresno, CA, and Yeng Yang of Inman, SC; and a sister, Sheng Yang of St. Paul, MN. Visitation will be 8:00 AM-11:00 PM Friday, March 15, 2013 and Saturday, March 16, 2013 and 8:00 AM-1:30 PM Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4081 Hwy 9, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Burial will be in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home.
