Daisy Rhom

Daisy Louise Rhom, 87, of Spartanburg, SC died Saturday, June 18, 2022 at her home. Born August 17, 1934 in Avera, MS, she was the daughter of the late Nonie Alonzo Clark and Ethel Jean Dykes Harrison, and was the wife of the late Robert Kay Medford.

Daisy was retired from Milliken & Company after over 55 years of service at the Guesthouse. She was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was of the Baptist faith.

Family includes her daughters, Vicki L. Brown (and the late Jackie Brown) of Cowpens, SC and Robin K. Lamb of Chesnee, SC, her grandchildren, Teresa Thomas (Billy), Bobby Brown (Kim), Leslie Jarvis (Brad), Crystal Barrs (Mike) and Jeff Lamb (Mindy), eight great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, and her sisters, Vera Lynn Harrison of Lander, WY and Dana Adair of Ellenboro, NC. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be at 11:00 am - 12:15 pm Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A funeral service will be at 12:30 pm at the chapel, conducted by The Rev. Kristopher Showen. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
