Cynthia Mccoy

Cynthia Ann Coomer McCoy, 78, of Spartanburg, SC died Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born September 23, 1942 in Ft. Wayne, IN she was the daughter of the late Harold B. Coomer and Fern Marie Boesch Coomer and widow of Lloyd Kent McCoy. Mrs. McCoy previously lived in Chattanooga, TN, Crossville, TN and Huntington, IN. She was a registered nurse and Department Director at Huntington Memorial Hospital. Mrs. McCoy was a member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church when she lived in East Ridge, TN and currently was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Spartanburg, SC. She enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Society and working with the American Heart Association. Survivors include her daughter, Michelle McCoy Jackson of Spartanburg, SC; son, Marc McCoy of Chickamauga, GA and Michael McCoy (Nicole) of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, David and Katherine Kaylor, Rochelle and Lawrence Symons, Jordan and Jordon Spivey, Brittany and Joshua McCoy, Kendyll, Karyssa, Samantha McCoy and Catelynn McCoy and KyleeAnn McCoy; eleven great-grandchildren, and brothers, Robert Witte (Lynn) and James Witte (Melody).
