Cynthia Marie Hunter Behnke, 66, of Pauline, SC died Saturday, July 20, 2013 at her home. Born May 4, 1947 in Gaffney, SC, she was the daughter of the late Agee Lamar and Ida Mae Manus Hunter. She was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed raising horses, and was lovingly called "Fish Whisperer". Surviving are her husband, Edward Behnke; sons, Richard Behnke (Trena), Dewayne Behnke, and Paul Behnke; grandchildren, Dustin Behnke, and Brittnee Behnke; great-grandchildren, Barron Brown, and Rylan Behnke; brothers, Wayne Hunter (Joyce) and Steve Hunter; sister, Judy Pack (Gene); nieces, Rita Mitchell and Janet Linhout and additional nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Behnke. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM in Pacolet First Baptist Church Cemetery, 310 W. Main Street, Pacolet, SC 29372, conducted by the Rev. Tommy Sparks. The family is at their respective homes.
