Curtis Howell

Curtis Allen Howell, 75, of Spartanburg, SC, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, March 10, 2023. Born April 25, 1947 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late James and Ozie Wilson Howell. A US Army Veteran, Curtis was a loving husband, dad, and papa.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Sheila Lee Howell of the home, their daughter, Christine Bailey (Lee), of Spartanburg, SC; two grandchildren, Grace Bailey and Joseph Bailey of Spartanburg, SC; brother, Gerald Howell of Florida; and two sisters, Geraldine Cornett of Norfolk, VA and Liz Murray of Missouri. He was predeceased by his brothers, George Howell and James Howell; and his sister, Betty Sosbee.

A visitation will be 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Floyd’s North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St, Spartanburg, SC 29306. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2023, at the North Spartanburg Church of God, 2069 Chesnee Hwy, Spartanburg, SC 29303, conducted by the Rev. Brandon Ard. Burial will follow in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Boiling Springs Rd, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
