Curtis Bishop

Curtis Palmer Bishop, 67, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, December 17, 2022, at his home. Born February 13, 1955 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of John Palmer Bishop and the late Betty Jo Henderson Bishop.

Curtis was retired from Michelin after 35 years of service. He loved to hunt deer and turkey. He loved his Lord and was of the Baptist faith. Curtis was a loving and wonderful husband, the best husband in the world, married 22 years.

Survivors include his wife, Treena Stepp Bishop of the home; his sons, Eugene Bishop (April) of Cowpens, SC, Jeff Bishop of Whitestone, SC and Dustin McCall of Union, SC; daughter, Monica Sinclair of Union, SC; seven grandchildren, Devon Sinclair, Macayla Sinclair, Lauren Bishop, Levi Bishop, Lucy Bishop, Emily Bishop, and Elizabeth Bishop; great grandchild, Ella Rose; and his siblings, Johnny Bishop, Pamela Bradley, Debra Horne and Tammy Crowe (Mike), all of Spartanburg. He was also predeceased by his first wife, Teresa Bennett Bishop.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Andy Case. Visitation will follow the service.
