Cullen Michael Crook

Cullen Michael Crook, 37, passed away on Thursday morning, January 25, 2024, at his home. Cullen was born on August 18, 1986, in Spartanburg, a son of Michael Brunson Crook and Luanne Daum Crook of Roebuck, SC.  He was married to Beebe Hodge Crook.  

Cullen was a member of First Baptist Church-Spartanburg, was an Assistant Vice President/Banking Center Manager with Park National Bank and was the longtime owner of Crook’s Landscaping Company. He was a graduate of Spartanburg Community College.  

Along with his parents and his wife, Cullen is survived by his two brothers, Coleman Crook (Brittney) and Michael Crook (Hannah); his sister, Ivey C. Moyer (Zane); and his paternal-grandmother, Shirley O’Shields Crook. He was predeceased by his brother, Chad Crook; his paternal grandfather, Edward “Ed” Crook; his maternal grandfather, the Rev. Thomas Daum; and his maternal grandmother, Mildred Daum.  

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 29, 2024, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Seth Buckley and the Rev. Britt Dillard.  A private burial service will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.  

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Blood Connection, 270 North Grove Medical Park Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303 or to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, PO Box 2624, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
