Crealie Pinson

Crealie Poteat Pinson, 76, of Chesnee, died Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born January 23, 1936, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Andy Clint and Lavaughn Seay Poteat. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg. Survivors include her loving husband, James B. "Jim" Pinson; daughters, Cathy Pinson Mills and husband Ronnie, and Christy Pinson and husband Allen Bridges, all of Chesnee; grandchildren, Daniel and Calley Mills, Chandler and Landon Bridges, Brent Pinson; and brother, Larry C. Poteat and his wife Yvonne of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by a son, Brian J. Pinson. Visitation will be 1:00-2:45 PM Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Sal Barone. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum. Honorary escorts are Calley Mills and Landon Bridges. Honorary pallbearers are Thomas Wolfe, Charlie Henson, Keith Seay, and Roger Simmons. Pallbearers are Daniel Mills, Brent Pinson, Chandler Bridges, Allen Bridges, Ronnie Mills, Chuck Shook, Mike Newton, and Tony Horton.
