Cornelia Key

Cornelia Bogan Key, 90, of Spartanburg, died Monday, November 7, 2011, at her home. Born October 2, 1921, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Cleveland Bogan, Sr. and Lavada Allen Bogan, and wife of the late Harold Frazer Key, Sr. Cornelia worked in the Navy Yard as a Civil Service employee during World War II. She also worked for Reeves Brothers and retired from Phillips Petroleum Corporation as an assistant plant manager. Survivors include her son, Glenn Frazer Key of Spartanburg; daughter, Christine Austelle March and Husband David H. March, Jr. of Spartanburg, formerly of Beaufort; grandchildren, Bryon Scott Key and wife Kylene and Christopher Chanse Austelle; great-grandchildren, Sabastain Key, Ashlyn and Addison Key; brothers, Harold Edward Bogan and Lorantz Bogan, both of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by a son, Harold Frazer Key, Jr. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel.
