Cora Steadman

Cora Lee Steadman, 105, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at White Oak Estates-Spartanburg. Born April 22, 1907, in Spartanburg, she was the widow of T. B. Steadman and daughter of the late Lee and Lillie Fehrman Belcher. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter-in-laws, Peggy Steadman and Carolyn Steadman, both of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Thomas D. Steadman (Marie), Pamela K. McSwain, Dennis Steadman (Patsy), Kathy D. Bush (Mark), and Vicki L. Steadman (Dennis), all of Spartanburg; seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Louise McKinney of Spartanburg. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by sons, Thomas Lee Steadman and Billy Joe Steadman; grandson, Rodney Steadman; sister, Marie McBride; and a brother, Horace Belcher. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 PM Friday, December 21, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. David Blanton and the Rev. Dr. Schuyler Peterson.
