Colleen Smith Bagwell, 83, of 420 Greenway Road, died Thursday, August 6, 2009, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born January 5, 1926, in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late James Curtis and Tillie Marie Burdette Smith. She was the wife of the late Jack Bagwell and was first married to the late John E. Turner. She was retired from Belk Department Store and attended Una First Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Johnette Parris and her husband Donald of Chesnee; a son, Ken Turner and his wife Kathy of Irmo; three granddaughters, Carrie Caudill, Mary Kathryn Turner, and Charity Turner; two grandsons, Gabriel Turner and Clyde George, III; five great-grandchildren, Andrew, Camden, Kinsley, Cassidy, and Landon George; two sisters, Lillian Carter and Louise Tipton; and a brother, Herbert Smith. Visitation will be 3:00-3:45 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Raymond L. Shreve and the Rev.
