Coley Mosley, Jr.

Coley "JR" L. Mosley, Jr. 64, of 150 Coleman Circle, Pacolet went home to be with his Lord on July 22, 2010 at his home. Born February 3, 1946 in Union County, SC, he was the son of the late Coley L. Mosley, Sr. and Tabitha Hipps Mosley. He was retired from Beaumont Mills, a member and long time superintendent of Pacolet Mills Church of God, and primary operator of the Food Bank Ministry of Pacolet Mills Church of God. Survivors include his wife of forty-four years, Gloria "Beanie" Knighten Mosley; a son, Allen Scott Mosley of Pacolet; two sisters, Betty Becknell and Hazel Swanson both of Union; two brothers, James "Buddy" Mosley of Union and Larry Joe Mosley of Boiling Springs, SC; step-brother, Earl Green of Union, granddaughter, Allison Elizabeth Mosley of Pacolet; honorary grandchild, Hunter Buice, loving mother-in-law, Norma Knighten of Gaffney; and a number of special and loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1:00-2:45 P.M. Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 P.M. at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. John Brooke.
