Clayton Boyce Seay, 96, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at Emeritus at Skylyn Place. Born September 20, 1915, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Ibra Falls Seay, Sr. and Ada Epps George Seay, and husband of the late Annie Merle Bagwell Seay. Mr. Seay was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and a member of the Men's Sunday School Class. He was retired as merchant of C. B. & G. W. Seay's Store and a U. S. Army veteran, medical technician, of World War II. Survivors include his daughter, Susan Seay Brown and husband Jimmy of Spartanburg; sons, Dennis C. Seay and wife Debbie, and Kenneth F. Seay and wife Nancy, all of Roebuck; grandchildren, Travis Brown and wife Michelle, Jessica Brown, Jennifer Seay, Brett Seay, Clayton Seay, and Kendyle Seay; great-grandson, Josh Brown; brother, James H. Seay and wife Marion of Moore; and a sister, Gladys L. Seay of Moore. Visitation will be 10:00-11:45 AM Friday, February 3, 2012, at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon, in the church, conducted by the Rev. James L. Oliver and the Rev. Joe Burnett. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
