Claudia White

Claudia Rachel Franklin White, 84, of Converse, SC died Monday, October 17, 2022 at her home. Born December 17, 1937 in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Connie A. and Ethel M. Waters Franklin and the wife of the late Nathaniel White.

Claudia was of the Baptist faith. Claudia was a Christian woman who loved to give and help others. One of her favorite hobbies was bargain hunting at Goodwill.

Survivors include her sons, Nathan S. White of Converse, SC and Timothy A. White of Greer, SC; daughter, Rebecca S. Roper (Eric) of Greer, SC; a granddaughter who was raised in the home, Jennifer T. White, and seven additional grandchildren; six great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was also predeceased by a son, Johnny Mack White, and siblings, Arthur Willard Franklin, Kenneth L. Franklin, James E. Franklin, John “Hunter” Franklin, Ruth Stricklin and Betty Jean.

Visitation will be 7:00 – 9:00 pm, Saturday October 22, 2022, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Graveside service will be at 3:00 PM Sunday October 23, 2022, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Andy Case.
