Claude Wilson

Claude Allen Wilson, 91, formerly of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Home in Anderson, SC. Born June 27, 1921, in Hazlehurst, MS, he was the son of the late John Leonard and Ida Anding Singletary Wilson. A World War II veteran of the U. S. Army, Mr. Wilson was also a member of Westview Christian Church, a former member of Fairforest Masonic Lodge #393, formerly employed with Beverage Air, and retired from Diversified Machine Products. Survivors include his beloved wife, Bennie Holt Wilson of Spartanburg, SC; son, David A. Wilson of Campobello, SC; daughters, Claudia W. Scism of Spartanburg, SC, and Barbara "Bobbi" Crum of Simpsonville, SC; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, December 7, 2012, in Westwood Memorial Gardens, by Dr. David Wilson and Mr. Kerry Crum. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
