Clara Osborne

Clara Mae Weathers Osborne, 74, of Central Pacolet, died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born January 19, 1936, in the Glenn Springs community, she was the daughter of the late William S. and Mary Crowe Weathers. She was first married to the late George F. Ledbetter and then to the late Guy E. Osborne. She was retired from Hamrick's Jonesville Plant. She was a member of Pacolet First Baptist Church and a member of the T.E.L. Sunday School Class. Survivors include a brother, William S. "Bill" Weathers, Jr. and a sister, Frances Weathers, both of Pacolet; several step children and step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a special cousin, Ike Weathers; and a dear friend, Mildred Motts. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, September 23, 2010, at Pacolet First Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Tommy Sparks. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
