Clara Gregory

Clara Jeannette Kennedy Gregory, 64, of 250 Norwood Street, died Monday, March 1, 2010, at the home of her daughter. Born March 30, 1945, in Clinton, SC, she was the daughter of the late Roy David and Lillie Mae Smith Kennedy. She formerly owned C. J.'s Florist and was a former employee of Liberty Life Insurance Company and Winn-Dixie Stores. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church in Spartanburg. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, William David Gregory; a daughter, Sindi Gregory and her fianc Travis Mullinax of Pacolet; a son, David Gregory and his wife Crystal of Pacolet Mills; eight grandchildren, Dedra Reese, Kimberlly Gregory, Paul Horton, Matthew Osment, Hagins Cauthen, Taylor Cauthen, Hunter Cauthen, and Kylie Gregory; and two great-grandchildren, Christian Dicus and Brayden Sisk. She was predeceased by a great-grandson, Camden Rogers; a sister, Juanita Dean; and a brother, Lamie Brewington. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Floyds Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 4:30 p.m. at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Richard D. Lewis. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted. The family is at the home of her daughter, Sindi Gregory, 224 Kailin Shea Avenue, Pacolet, SC 29372.
